Phor Thor

Phor Thor (Hungry Ghost Festival) is a celebrated during the 7th month of the lunar calendar.

The lost souls of the dead are believed to roam around during the festival seeking food and entertainment. They can get up to mischief if ignored! Offerings like fruits, suckling pig and goats, joss sticks, hell money and gigantic paper effigy are perfect sketching subjects.
All in all, an entertaining night.
